South Superstar and Rajani Makkal Mandram's Cheif Rajinikanth clarified the contest in the forthcoming general elections. He said that he would stay away from the Lok Sabha polls. A formal announcement was made to this extent. Speaking at a district secretariat meeting in Chennai, Rajnikanth said that their Target would be Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in 2021. It is clear that they will not compete in the Lok Sabha elections and support any party.Also, anybody in the Lok Sabha elections that they should not use their photos or party symbols. In such Usage of our party symbols we will take legal actions on them. He appealed to the public to vote for those who will solve the Tamil Nadu's major problem-Water problem.
